About Us
Established in 2004, Texas Barricade and Signs, Inc. (TBS) is a premier, woman-owned traffic control company based in Amarillo, Texas. From our state-of-the-art 20,000 square foot facility, we specialize in a comprehensive range of traffic control solutions, including the design and manufacturing of construction signs, and the supply, installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic control products and devices. Our services, available for durations from a single day to several years, are meticulously designed in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Texas Traffic Control Plan (TCP), with custom modifications to meet specific city or county requirements. As a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Texas Department of Transportation and a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) by the State of Texas, we are committed to excellence and safety in every project.
At TBS, our extensively trained team of certified professionals is at the heart of our success. Our certified flaggers and National Traffic Control Supervisors ensure efficient flagging operations for projects requiring traffic lane limitations. We also boast a sophisticated sign manufacturing facility, utilizing Sign Cad to produce high-quality signs up to 8’ x 10’, including all TXDOT designs. Beyond our services, we offer a wide array of traffic control devices for sale and lease, including message boards, arrow boards, cones, barricades, and water barriers, many of which are available for immediate delivery from our inventory. Our commitment to quality, rapid turnaround times, and a dedicated, friendly staff has allowed us to serve over 250 clients, from highway and utility contractors to government entities, fostering strong, lasting relationships built on trust and superior service.
